I’ve been passing by this restaurant for few times and always wanted to try.Oppaya is located at the shoplots opposite Kepong Aeon Big and QQ Steamboat Restaurant. Second floor
It has been a long time i haven’t go out with my favorite human. So we decided to catch up for a bit and went to have dinner in Tsubohachi Izakaya Hokkaido in Publika. This is the their first branch in Malaysia. We were so attracted by their interior design. They have these gigantic bathtub looking seating and also many cute maneki neko on the wall. The Menu.
The service was superb! Once we were setting down, the waiter brought hot towel [Oshibori ] for us to clean our hand. Besides, we never need to raise our hand for ordering! Our tea cup were kept being refilled.
Kamameshi is one of their specialties, so we ordered one to share. We had the Tarabagani Kamameshi @ RM36.90.Tarabagani Kamameshi – Red King Crab Pot Rice
We had to wait 10-20 minutes for the rice to cook, but the wait is worth it. There were 4-5 pieces of king crab legs in the pot. The rice becomes rich with crab, carrot and mushroom flavor.I cannot taste any seasoning but just the natural flavor from the ingredients, which is very nice and comforting. Onsen Tamago. One with the special sauce and one with the regular shoyu. I think the special sauce is the mixture of shoyu and ponzu sauce. Potato mentaiko yaki @ RM13.90. This is totally worth it. There were generous amount of mentaiko and cheese. Soft and steamy hot potato with savory mentaiko paste in cheese! This dish is very tasty and satisfying. Takoyaki @ RM9.90. Nothing to complain, taste good. Hotate Yaki @ RM9.90. Look at the big and juicy scallops and the roe! Totally worth it. It was fresh and tasty. Simply delicious! Matcha De Roru @ RM14.90. It was pre-made frozen dessert.
Overall, i will definitely re-visit again for the good food and great service. If you cannot get a seat in Senya Izakaya, is a great choice to come Tsubohachi Izakaya.

PS: After the dinner, we went to Library for some coffee. The coffee and service were good too! We were greeted with a warm friendly welcome. We had Americano and Hazelnut Latte. Both taste good too.
Give it a try if you want to enjoy a good coffee in a good environment.
I have this big and very comfortable comb that i bought from Caring in Mid valley. I have been using that comb for more than a year and it was already broken weeks ago. I have been using my fingers to comb my hair for more than weeks!
I was tempted to buy Ionic hair brush from Panasonic. But it was too expensive, so i have been researching on this Tangle Teezer. Apparently, there were none or none can be found bad reviews on this tangle teezer. So, i login to Luxola and buy it. It was on promotion sale too!
Need to purchase more than RM80 to get free shipping now. The shipping is quite expensive as Luxola is not operate in Malaysia. So i grabbed other promotional items to get free shipping.
Natural World Keratin Shampoo [RM 56.50] and Natural World Argan Oil Conditioner [ RM80.50], both 1000ml, can last me for 3 months.
My first and only tangle teezer [RM 69.00 ]. Few reasons that i decided to buy tangle teezer and here is why:-
1) This is a professional detangling comb. I have frizzy and tangled hair.
2) The comb is made from plastic*, i can clean it with water only.
3) It seems durable. I don’t have to keep buying comb.
4) The non-slip ergonomic grip design.
5) It was on sales.
and here is the review of tangle teezer after i have been using it for 2 weeks. As you can see from the picture [or not], Tangle teezer has two different lengths of flexible bristles, and that’s how tangle teezer can painlessly de-tangling hair without ripping it to shreds or causing damage. You might wonder if the comb skipped the tangled hair and just make the non tangled hair smooth since the short bristle seems can’t comb the hair well. But i can assure you, it is working fine on detangling hairs.
Another plus point for tangle teezer is the fallen hair will be trapped on tangle teezer because of the long and short bristles. So, you have less mess to clean on the floor.
But, tangle teezer is nothing much than just a comb. A comb that can comb your hair well and detangle tangled hairs. No special effect, no shinny hairs, no hair growth, just a comb.
Overall, i am satisfied with this new comb.
Wei Dao Jiang Hu has expanded their business and they are doing Szechuan Hot Pot just next to their restaurant. Lap Cheong and me went to try the hot pot and i am here writing the review of it.
We had the combination soup base @ RM18. Half for chicken soup and half for hot and spicy soup. I strongly recommend you to take the combination soup even if you can take very hot and spicy food. The chicken soup was surprisingly good, it does taste like herbal chicken soup that boiled for long time. It was better than the hot and spicy soup.
The menu and order list. [ Click for larger image ] The menu is same with Xiao Fei Yang restaurant. What you can get from Xiao Fei Yang, you can get it from here. They have barbeque section too, so you can order some lamb skewers, chicken wings and rolled bacon.
The sauce counter. You can get whatever sauce that you like from here for unlimited time. They have many types of dipping sauce. From fresh chopped green onions, sesame oil, Lao Gan Ma chili crisp sauce, soy sauce, garlic, fried onion, peanuts, peanut sauce and more! But you have to pay for the dipping sauce too. RM2 per pax.Pickled cabbage @ RM8 is a must order if you are having hot and spicy hotpot. It goes very well with hot and spicy soup. Fresh prawn paste @ RM15 This was strongly recommended by the lady boss. The prawn paste was so-so and the portion is really small for RM15. Not recommended. Cuttlefish pork ball @ RM8. There were 8 pieces of it but they cut them in half. Special pork ball aka Explosion pork ball @ RM8. Hot gravy or soup will explode inside your mouth when you take a bite of this pork ball. Luncheon meat @ RM10. Not recommended. The luncheon meat was the healthy version of luncheon meat. It was firmer but lack of taste. We were like chewing a meat taste of harder version tofu. Fresh mushroom @ RM8. Goes well with hot and spicy soup. Dong Bei Dumpling @ RM8. Chives and pork dumpling. Thinly sliced pork belly @ RM12. Homemade Noodles @ Rm5. Chewy and full in flavor once you cooked them in the soup. Rolled bacon with enoki skewer @ RM3 per stick. We had grilled chicken wings too. The grilled food was good but too much of cumin powder on it.
We paid RM70+ for the meal. Price is really reasonable as you get what you pay. Good soup, good sauce, fresh and tasty food, good service too. Nothing to complain and we will definitely go back for the hotpot.

I always pass this cafe on the way to grocery shopping at Aeon Big and finally had the chance to try it out. The best part of this cafe is the decoration, is so not mainstream and you could find traditional chinese lantern, doraemon, japanese garden lamp and other eccentric decor. We started with mini pork patty. Moist and juicy, go well with the mayonnaise and Thai chili sauce. Butter toasted burger bun, firm and juicy pork patty, sunny side up and lightly toasted pineapple.
This is a tasty burger. Butter toasted burger bun, crispy chicken patty, slightly melted sandwich cheese, sunny side up, some greens and the secret sauces [ Honey Mustard + Mayonnaise] This is another tasty burger. Tender and juicy grilled chicken thigh with hot cajun sauce, mashed potatoes and side salads. Nothing can complain. Everyone like this dish. Firm and flavorful fish fillet with hot and melted cheese.
Unlike the typical chain store that serves shaved ice with artificial syrups. Leaf & Bean cafe did put some efforts for the snow ice. Bottom with milky custard, sweet konnyaku and fine snow ice.The cakes were pretty good too.
Udon Kobo Min Min serves udon in variety of ways and in reasonable price as you can see from the menu. If you like udon, you should give it a try.Mentaimayo Udon – RM17.90
Chewy and smooth cold udon with savory cod roe and creamy sourish mayonnaise. Curry Udon – RM 18.90
The best seller in udon kobo min min. Generous amount of thick pork slices, fresh and soft udon in just perfect thickness curry broth. Yakiniku Don – RM10.90 [ With miso soup ] Small size of yakiniku don and comes with a bowl of hot miso soup. Nicely marinated fried pork with sweet onion on Japanese rice. Onsen Tamago – RM3.00 Chawanmushi – RM6.90 Gyoza – RM8.90 Salmon Sashimi – RM18.90
Just look at the bright orange color and the thickness. The sashimi is tender, fatty and delicious! Yuzu Sorbet – RM5.90 Mizu Mochi – RM6.90
The mizu mochi taste like normal konnyaku jelly with soybean powder and sugar syrup.
